The next edition of the Romania Oil & Gas Conference will take place on 19 - 20 November 2013 in Bucharest. Key topics include, but are not limited to current developments, future projects and opportunities for international oil and gas companies within the Romanian domestic energy market.

Situated along the Black Sea continental shelf, Romania is one of the biggest oil producers in Central and Eastern Europe and the Romanian natural gas sector is one of the most developed in Europe. It's conventional and unconventional oil and gas potential makes it the only state in the region that can meet its own oil and gas demand, and export this resource.

Romania also has the largest harbour in the Black Sea, making it economically and geostrategically important as part of the new Euro-Asian hydrocarbon transport axes. This, along with its geographical position and an existing pipeline system, places Romania in a strong position to become a transport hub for hydrocarbon supplies moving into Europe.
